Sustainability Fund Sessions
New free sessions available at our two different Sites!
Thanks to the Sustainability fund and Sunderland Council we are able to offer various lead rides, cycle maintenance and recycled bike drop of and collection points at our two different sites. St Peters Cycle and Sports Hub and Role offer free cycle maintenance, bespoke servicing, cycle hire, ride cycle support, group rides. Our newly refurbished Wear Moving site in Leechmere offers bicycle maintenance, recycled bike drop of and collection point, bicycle parts and products. Both sites play an important part in community cohesion and sustainability across Sunderland.

BetterPoints Sunderland is a great way for Wear Moving participants to earn rewards for walking and cycling. Please download the free BetterPoints app from the App Store or Google Play and enter the referral code wearmoving.
Earn BetterPoints for walking and cycling. These points can be exchanged for coffees at Thompson Park Cafe, spent at other local businesses, or donated to St Benedict's Hospice and Grace House.

Re-cycle Your Bike Scheme
We offer a free recycle your bike scheme where your old bike could be repurposed back to road standard and put back into the community for FREE!
